Absolutely love this scene. Shows Cap’s true character and never-changing selflessness regardless of the change of times, from a skinny kid from Brooklyn, to a WW2 hero, to the leader of a superhero team saving the world multiple times, his humanity never changes almost 70 years later or when he’s blasted into iconhood. To him, a couple innocent lives is worth a million of them, and to see him immediately jump into a grenade without a second thought, shows his willingness to lay down his own life so that others don’t have to. Drove himself into ice to stop what would’ve been a crash landing into New York, and presumably died a hero, only to wake up and further exemplify that it’s important that time and change doesn’t stray you away from your sense of what’s right, what’s not, your compassion for others, and the example you set for those that live on to tell your story of what a man, a patriot, and a hero should be.

First of all Tony actually becomes a hero and sacrifices himself and not everything about Cap comes from a bottle because he can lift Mijolnighr.
